Skyline Caverns

My brother's family made a last-minute trip to our area earlier this week. Having not seen them for almost a year, and having not yet met my newest nephew, we kept Connor home from school that day and went to the Skyline Caverns in Front Royal, Virginia. They are only about an hour away, but we had never been there. It ended up being a fun activity for the kids and adults. In fact, Connor wants to go to Luray Caverns sometime soon now. Anyhow, once we were done there, we headed back to our house for a while so the kids could play, and then we went out for ice cream. It was only a quick day together, but it was fun. In another month or two we'll be heading up their way, so the cousins will get to play together again soon.

Ty was entranced by the caverns.

Connor is practicing being a big brother. He's gonna make a great one!

I love this picture. You can tell the kids are getting tired and don't want to pose.
