In Memoriam
Beth, Matt's sister, went into labor in the wee hours of the morning on Wednesday, July 7 (her due date). Unfortunately, upon Beth's admission to the hospital, it was discovered that her and Ben's baby girl, Alanna Marlee, had very recently passed away. She entered the world at 1:48 p.m., beautiful, perfect, and embraced in love. Her mom and dad and other loved ones got to hold her for fleeting minutes, but we know that Jesus will hold her in his embrace forever--and one day we'll be reunited.

I am so sorry for your in-laws. July 7th was Morgan's birthday. It was scary, complicated and resulted in an emergency c-section. Your story reminds me just how lucky we were and my heart goes out to those who don't have the same ending. My thoughts are with you guys!
