Day 3 of Vacation

On Wednesday we went to Joy's for the afternoon. Her girls' birthdays are next month, and Joy hadn't yet mailed Connor's birthday gift from earlier this year, so we had a mini surprise birthday party for all three kids. They loved it, and especially loved the toys! Adam was going to try to come home from work for lunch but was unable to. Eventually, we had to say goodbye (Joy's family was leaving town on Thursday), which made Connor sad. From there we headed to my parents', where we picked up my niece, Alexis, and headed to the beach (Lake Erie Peninsula) for the evening. And Connor was happy again.
